Red I, a painting in acrylic on canvas, was one of a set of three pieces commissioned by a coroporate office in New Zealand. Their brief to artist Lorraine Jacobs was "three large paintings for a conference room to be a red that matched their furniture", and "not so 'busy' that clients or staff might be distracted and unable to concentrate on the task in hand"!
