I did! This simple painting won first place in a significant juried exhibition in the USA, because I was able to replicate the subtle impression of the late afternoon light on the cottage and fence.

I have looked at many NZ paintings but your one seems to completely define all that is great about New Zealand, the wilderness, the mountains, flora. and famous rivers. I want my son to always have a reminder of his homeland, also the South Island where his father enjoyed years of tramping and mountaineering.
