Kata Tjuta
Kata Tjuta, also known as The Olgas, is a group of 36 large domed rock formations located about 365 km southwest of Alice Springs, Central Australia. The Pitjantjajara tribal name Kata Tjuta means 'many heads'. The site is as sacred to the indigenous aborigines as nearby Uluru.
Its red colouring is typical of much of Australia's interior, and is captured clearly in landscape artist Lorraine Jacobs' beautiful watercolour painting.
Framed and ready to hang!
This watercolour (watercolor) by landscape artist Lorraine Jacobs is framed ready to hang. It can be bought singly or as one of a pair with 'Uluru'.
